FoamAway™
A LeafBond Defoamer
FoamAway™ is part of the family of LeafBond Adjuvants. The LeafBond family provides a comprehensive suite of adjuvants designed to complement a variety of crops and application conditions.
WHAT IS IT?
FoamAway™ is a two mode of action foam control product. It works as both an antifoam agent (prevents foam,) as well as a defoamer (eliminates foam.)
WHY USE IT?
FoamAway provides efficient foam control with the dual mode of action formulation. One product can take care of existing foam while also preventing foam from occurring in the first place.
HOW TO USE IT
Prior to foam formation:
If you are using a product known to produce foam, add FoamAway to the spray mixture prior to foam formation. As a general rule, use .5 oz./100 gallons of water under most conditions. Applying 1-2 oz./100 gallons of water may be necessary under more difficult foam circumstances.
After foam formation:
If a mister is available, FoamAway can be diluted with water at a 50% ratio and sprayed over the foam to collapse existing foam challenges.
If a mister is not available, direct a small stream of FoamAway into the foam and continue to repeat until foam is manageable.
