JumpStart™ SB
In-furrow soybean starter
We've searched for years for a consistent fertilizer-based soybean row starter, to no consistent avail. What we have found instead, is that we simply needed to stimulate the all-important rhizosphere (the soil around the soybean roots) to provide an all you can eat buffet for soil biology and additional yield is the result!

WHAT IS IT?
JumpStart SB™ is an in-furrow product specifically designed to enhance early season soybean growth. It contains an amino acid derived polymer, biostimulants and organic acid extracts with auxin like properties. It does not contain traditional fertilizer but stimulates soil biology to mine fertility on your behalf.
WHY USE IT?
Consistent Yield Increases
➔ In third party replicated trials across the Midwest, Jumpstart SB increased yield an average of 4.3 Bu./A., with a Least Significant Difference (LSD) of 2.3. This means that yields over 2.3 Bu./A. are statistically significant and are likely repeatable.
To positively influence the rhizosphere!
➔ Plant root exudates are fluids emitted through the roots of plants. These secretions influence the rhizosphere around the roots to inhibit harmful microbes and promote the growth of beneficial microbes and the growth of the plant. Jumpstart SB directly impacts the soil rhizosphere!
Includes both Organic Acids and Amino Acids
➔ Plants are able to modify their surroundings by root exudation into the rhizosphere of a large range of compounds that alter soil physical and chemical properties and mediate the interactions between plants and rhizospheric microorganisms (Nihorimbere et al., 2011; Huang et al., 2014). Two classes of root exudates are organic acids and amino acids, both of which are in Jumpstart SB.
➔ Root exudates improve soil moisture and nutrient bioavailability and plant growth by altering rhizosphere physical, chemical or biological properties. Root secretion activities enable plants to adapt to and gradually change the soil environment in which roots are exposed (Sasse et al., 2018; Sharma et al., 2016).
Amino Acid Derived Polymer is also a food source!
➔ This naturally derived technology complexes nutrients already found in your soil, making them available to this year's crop. After the nutrients have been absorbed by the plant, this technology becomes food for your soil microbes within 30 days for continued season-long nutrient cycling.

Testimonials
I tried the TAPS system last year. The yield influence I saw was enough to adopt the agronomic profit system on my whole farm this year. The way the crop started was great! The Ethos Elite with the in-furrow was one of those undeniable components. The stand counts speak for themselves.

By using different products, whether it was planting time or foliar, tweaks to our nitrogen management, hybrid selection or whatever it was… the last two years our yields have just been UNBELIEVABLE! From where we have been the prior 10–20 years to the unbelievable jump we have made the past two years in 2022 and 2023… it’s a testament to the products, the company, the relationship with the people. It’s just been unbelievable!
With The Agronomic Profit System™ from Yield Innovations™, they create a personalized system for our farm. Everything we do is on purpose with an agronomic reason behind it. We’re in the middle of working our plan. Getting ready to do a V 12 Y drop. Considering the abundant rainfall, we couldn’t be happier with the way our crop looks, corn, beans and wheat!

JumpStart SB is part of the YieldStarter family of row starters. YieldStarter products are in-furrow only starter solutions. All corn yield starters start with the same base analysis, 8-19-3-1S and are then differentiated by the derived from ingredients, as well as either the addition or omission of other yield enhancing components.
