WHAT IS IT?
A UAN additive that can be used beside the row, sidedress or Y-Drop applications.
WHY USE IT?
➔ Phosphorus - More available (P) phosphorus than 10-34-0
Kickstart Plus contains 20% more orthophosphate (the readily available form) than 10-34-0
➔ Potassium - Corn plants from emergence through V4, require 11 % of their total Potassium (K)
Kickstart Plus contains potassium to help build early season disease resistance while helping to meet the early season K requirement
➔ Sulfur - Corn plants from emergence through V4, require 10% of their total Sulfur (S)
Kickstart Plus contains Sulfur. Sulfur + Nitrogen + Potassium produces proteins essential for crop growth
➔ NanoBond 4Z - Enables better uptake of nutrients and improved yields

Kickstart Plus may be applied in a 2x2/2x2x2 in UAN at 1-5 gal./A. and at Sidedress through both middle of the row applications and Y-Drops in UAN at 1-3 gal./ A.

This was our first year using KickStart Plus in our 2x2. When it didn’t rain for 3 weeks in June, we noticed better drought tolerance by less rolling on the treated strips. We also noticed a difference in hybrid response, which we will note for next year when it comes to hybrid selection.
